Cornish coffee

Our delicious single origin beans are from Cornish roasters Yallah who pay premiums that far exceed the normal certifications and have a direct relationship with wonderful family focused co-operatives in Brazil and Nicaragua. Sustainability is at the heart of their business - using the waste product from roasting coffee (chaff) as fuel for the biomass boiler is just one of many amazing initiatives.

somerset Milk

Working with a sensory scientist, The Estate Dairy understands the relationship between feed and milk aroma and has developed a specially formulated diet to create a dairy milk that works best with coffee. Their Guernsey herd is farmed sustainably on over 500 acres of idyllic Somerset pastures at Bickfield Farm, which has been farming since the 1930s. We also sell bottles, along with their yoghurt and flavoured butter, to take away.

CORNISH WINE

After many years trading as fish merchants in Newlyn, John and Kim Coulson decided they needed a new adventure. After buying a run-down flower farm in Penzance not far from where we grew up in Cornwall and following some advice from Bob Lindo at Camel Valley, they decided to plant vines and create their own Cornish vineyard. Today they offer a wide range of award-winning sparkling and still wines, ciders and juices sold across the country.

TURMERIC

We get our chai and turmeric from Blendsmiths in London. Their range of colourful and nutritious drinks are produced sustainably with every ingredient sourced from nature 'from the ground up', and distributed as ethically and sustainably as possible. Their nutritional blends are also vegan-friendly, gluten and dairy free. They donate a % of every Blendsmths product sold to the charity Mustard Tree - helping the most vulnerable people, tackling both causes and consequences of poverty.

KENT WINE

Saddle Goose is a new small craft wine company based in Kent which aims to push the boundaries of what's possible with English wine. They take inspiration from ancestral winemaking practices of old and blend it with modern winemaking thinking and technology. Their 18 days skin contact Bacchus is an ancestral 'orange' style wine where the skins of the grapes impart flavours of ripe mature fruit and nuts whilst retaining the fresh acidity you find from English grapes. They give 5% of their annual profits to British Waterfowl Association.
